Restormel Arts has, since 1992, promoted and sponsored the performing arts in the area. As a charity and volunteer organisation it is seeking to recruit committed individuals to ensure that its work can continue in spite of the current lack of arts’ funding. Events Organiser

To assist our Events’ Consultant in organising and managing various promotions of professional performers including the popular Jazz at the Brewery concerts. Responsibilities would include liaison with bands, agents and venues, arrangement of accommodation, liaison with other local promoters and attendance at events to sell tickets and generally assist audiences and performers.

Treasurer

To be responsible for the maintenance of accounts for this charity and company limited by guarantee and for submission of the accounts to Companies’ House and the Charity Commission. The Treasurer will be asked to work with members of the Board in choosing a suitable bookkeeping system either manual or computerised.

Fund raiser and bid writer

To work with members of the Board in identifying funding sources for the running of Restormel Arts and for projects and events and preparing, submitting and negotiating suitable bids.

Promotions assistant

Volunteer needed to man a display stand at the Arts Cafe at the Eden project every month from 7pm onwards. Own transport needed. May also be able to help with other marketing opportunities.
